OLicense-Suite is a modern software licensing system, which prevents the unauthorized use of your software products. The validity of each license is verified while the software is running.

OLicense-Suite is implemented using a modern client/server architecture. OLicense-Server is a special type of web server that communicates with clients through encrypted HTTP. Therefore OLicense-Suite does not impose special requirements on your customer’s network infrastructure. OLicense-Suite uses state-of-the-art Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) digital encryption.

You can imagine the model as key and lock:

• In the case of OLicense the key is a column of data, which must be compiled into your application with the aid of the API (a static C / C + + library)  .

• The lock is a license, a record in which is documented what the application is allowed to execute for a particular user (licensee).

Being a pure software solution, OLicense-Suite is particularly suitable for products which are distributed over the Internet. The generated licenses are saved as XML files, which can then be uploaded by your customer to the OLicense-Server at their site. The generated licenses can be downloaded or sent via e-mail. Unlike hardware solutions, there are no packaging or distribution costs.
